GOLDEN GLOBES MEN 2013

We have seen so many beautiful and intriguing dresses, complimented by the most gorgeous shoes and accessories of the most stylish women at the Golden Globes today. They are all over the social media sites, the internet, and this blog. I can't say I have seen any images of the men who also attended who look nearly as great as the ladies. Awards nights and getting dressed up are definitely for the women!

I had a look around online and these are the men who have been named the "Best Dressed" so far. It seems they are all going for the minimalist black or navy suit paired with a white collared shirt, slim-fit tailoring, and there is an invasion of the bow-tie.

I love the simple black or navy suit, I like the detailing on the collar of Ben Affleck's suit jacket and I like that Leonardo Dicaprio has gone for something a little different with the black buttons that fasten his white shirt. The bow-ties, not so much. I much prefer the more manly looking ties of Edward Pattinson and Kevin Costner.

I would love to see one of the men go for something entirely new at an awards show! I know they are extremely formal events, but it shouldn't mean black, white, boring should it? 

All up, they are keeping it classy, which will always get you on the "Best Dressed" list.
