DESHABILLE MOTHERS DAY BLOGGERS LUNCH

Earlier this week my Mum and I attended the Deshabille Mothers Day Bloggers Lunch with a few other bloggers and their Mums, Deshabille designer Roslyn Gleave, Krystal Barter from the Pink Hope charity (both pictured below) and the Portobello PR ladies.

We viewed the Deshabille collection which includes sleepwear, loungewear and some beachwear when we arrived at Pink Salt in Double Bay. The most suitable and stylish choice!

My Mum was loving the printed Deshabille PJ's that are Australian inspired with native birds and flowers, as well as the unique florals of pinks and blues mixed with black. If you are a woman in my family, you are extremely fussy with materials and cannot stand a bit of itchy lace irritating your skin
while you try to be comfortable in your comfy wear. This was another reason why we both loved the extra soft material of the sleepwear range - It is exactly what you want to sleep in or feel at ease in when you're lounging about at home.

I loved the silky blue PJ sets, they had some white lace, but again, so soft and so sleepwear fashion forward! I also loved the most cosy knitted wraps that you could style into a casual outfit for a coffee catch up with friends or while heading to the shops. In the photo above I am holding up one of the designs made by Deshabille and Pink Hope, more on that below.

After some chatting to Roz, the lovely designer behind the Deshabille label and viewing the stylish and comfortable range we sat down for an amazing lunch. We all ordered perfectly presented meals that tasted absolutely perfect. Dessert was equally perfect!

What I also loved was the unique table setting. Aside from the usual cutlery and set up, us bloggers all had a note next to our plates, with a handwritten sentence to finish off. We were to finish the sentence with something relative to our Mums, you can see what I have written below. And the table was even displayed with the cutest Deshabille PJ shorts!

In between our filling lunch and sweet desserts, Krystal Barter from Pink Hope told  us all her personal and inspiring story. It reminded us all that as women, we need to be proactive with our breast and ovarian health. Krystal spoke of how she started the charity after discovering she had the breast cancer gene that so many women can have and don't know about.

Pink Hope is all thanks to Krystal's hard work that she continuously puts into the community charity that helps so many women all over Australia. To find out more bout Pink Hope and how you can be involved, visit the website here - http://pinkhope.org.au/

Deshabille and Pink Hope have also collaborated on a beautiful range which is sold online at – www.deshabille.com.au with 50% of proceeds going to Pink Hope. I loved the pink floral print and hot pink block colours used in the designs above!

I can't thank Deshabille, Pink Hope and Portobello PR enough for such a beautiful day of viewing a great collection and being in such great company with such inspirational people, and our Mums!
